Research Interests:
My research focuses on popular politics and religion in early modern Britain. My doctoral research focused on the impact of the religious change on provincial urban political culture, and subsequently I have published on a range of topics during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
Biography:
I joined Murray Edwards in 2022 having spent two years supervising and working in admissions at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. I am currently a Teaching Assistant on the Cambridge Foundation Year Programme and a Director of Studies for the Foundation Year at Lucy Cavendish. Before coming to Cambridge, I taught History in a range of settings, including the University of Kent, University of East Anglia, and Queen Mary University of London.
Alongside teaching and research, I am passionate about widening access to Higher Education and have worked in various roles in Cambridge and elsewhere that have looked to dismantle systemic barriers to university education.
